Studio and In-Home Newborn Photography

Newborn sessions are available in my home studio and may also be held in the comfort of your home, depending on the type of session you are looking for. Studio sessions are ideal for softly styled newborn portraits, while in-home sessions offer a more personal, relaxed feel in your own space.

When to Book Your Newborn Session

The best time to reserve your newborn session is during pregnancy, ideally in your second or early third trimester. Newborn portraits are usually photographed within the first 5 to 21 days after birth, when babies are still very sleepy and naturally curled.

However, if your baby is older, don’t worry. I photograph newborns up to six weeks old, adjusting posing and styling to ensure safe, beautiful results.

Your baby’s comfort and safety always come first. Every session is guided gently and patiently, with posing based on what your baby allows naturally. Wraps, fabrics, and props are carefully prepared and sanitized, and I never force a pose if your baby is unsettled or uncomfortable.

What to Bring and How to Prepare

Before your session, I will guide you through simple preparation steps to help everything run smoothly. In general, it is helpful to bring extra diapers, wipes, milk or feeding supplies, a pacifier (if your baby uses one), and a spare outfit for both parents and baby.
